Japanese GP: Max Verstappen makes F1 history at Suzuka

Highlights of the first practice session for the Japanese Grand Prix where Max Verstappen becomes the youngest driver in Formula 1 history.

Verstappen took to the track just three days after his 17th birthday in Japan, but the Dutchman's debut was cut short in the final moments due to an engine failure.

Verstappen was driving in first practice in place of Jean-Eric Vergne, as the team prepare him for his race debut in 2015, and ended the session just 0.443secs slower than team-mate Daniil Kvyat.

Nico Rosberg beat Mercedes team-mate and title rival Lewis Hamilton to set the fastest time of the morning session.
