Monaco GP: Lewis Hamilton plays down Mercedes strategy error
Lewis Hamilton plays down the strategic error that cost him victory in Monaco, saying "these thing happen".
Hamilton was controlling the race until Mercedes pitted him after a late safety car came on following Max Verstappen's crash. When he rejoined he was unable to regain the positions he lost to Rosberg and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel, who both did not pit.
Mercedes bosses Niki Lauda and Toto Wolff explain that the team has apologised to Hamilton for the mistake, and BBC pundits David Coulthard and Eddie Jordan also offer their opinions on the matter.
