Hamilton hoping for exciting weekend

Lewis Hamilton says he is hoping for an exciting race this weekend in Austria after complaints that Formula 1 has become boring.

Hamilton leads his Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg by 17 points in the drivers' standings, but the German expects this weekend's race to be close due to the shortness of the Red Bull Ring.

Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel and Williams' Valtteri Bottas are hoping to catch the Mercedes cars, while Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo and McLaren's Fernando Alonso are aiming for productive weekends despite both being likely to start the race from the back of the grid because of engine penalties.
