Farrell aims to win GAA presidency

Cavan man Aogan Farrell is hoping to win the GAA presidential election on at the association's annual congress in Croke Park on Friday night.

Former Ulster Council president Farrell will be taking on Kerry man Sean Walsh and Wexford native Seamus Howlin.

Farrell says the key plank of his presidency would be sorting out the fixture congestion which has dogged the GAA in recent years.

The winner of Friday's election will begin their presidency at next year's annual congress.
