Tyrone woman Roisin Jordan delighted to make GAA history

Tyrone woman Roisin Jordan says she feels honoured as she becomes the first female to be elected as chairperson of an Irish GAA county board.

The Eglish native was voted into the role at Tyrone's Annual County Convention on Tuesday night after serving five years as county vice-chairman.

Mother-of-four Jordan told BBC Sport that she has been inundated with messages of congratulation since her election.
