Manager Jim McCorry lauds Down belief and work ethic

Down manager Jim McCorry praises his side's "belief and work ethic" following their Football League Division Two 1-9 to 0-8 win over Cavan at Breffni Park.

The Mournemen bounced back from a defeat by Roscommon to emerge victorious over their Ulster rivals.

"I thought our guys stuck well to the plan we developed in training and we beat a very good Cavan side in their own backyard," said McConville, who also praised the influence of substitute Arthur McConville.
