Sean Quigley says Fermanagh earned lucky goal in Dubs defeat

Sean Quigley jokes that he was about to wave the green flag for Fermanagh's controversial goal in their All-Ireland quarter-final defeat by Dublin before the referee awarded the three-pointer.

The Fermanagh full-forward clearly pushed Dublin keeper Stephen Cluxton over his own goal-line but referee Padraig O'Sullivan awarded the goal after consulting with an umpire.

After being 1-13 to 0-6 in arrears at half-time, the contentious goal helped Fermanagh produce a better second-half performance as they restricted Dublin's winning margin to 2-23 to 2-15.

"I was giving him another 10 seconds and if he hadn't lifted the flag I would have lifted it myself," joked Quigley after Sunday's game.
