Kieran Hughes 'pride' after Scotstown fell holders Slaughtneil

Scotstown's Kieran Hughes says he felt 'pure pride' for the families and friends of the club's players after they beat holders Slaughtneil in the Ulster Senior Football quarter-final at Clones.

"It hasn't sunk in just yet, maybe tonight I will get my head round it," Hughes told listeners to BBC Radio Ulster's Championship programme after the game.

The Monaghan champions defeated the Derry kingpins 1-15 to 0-15.
