Hurling League launched under Belfast's famous Harland & Wolff cranes

Antrim forward Liam Watson and Wexford star Lee Chin launch this year's Hurling League underneath the Harland & Wolff cranes which dominate the Belfast skyline.

"I am a big fan of the history of the Titanic so it's a pleasure to be here," said Chin as he stood on the site where the famous ocean liner was made.

Wexford will open their Division 1B campaign away to Limerick on Saturday night while the Saffrons begin their Division 2A season with a tricky looking contest against Derry at Owenbeg on Sunday.

The Saffrons suffered the indignity of being relegated from Division 1 last season and also dropped down to the second-tier Christy Ring Cup after a dismal championship campaign.

Loughgiel's 2012 All-Ireland Club title winning campaign PJ O'Mullan has replaced Kevin Ryan as Antrim manager and he is being assisted by Cork hurling great Justin McCarthy.
