Tipp hurlers could twin with struggling Saffrons

Tipperary GAA chairman Michael Bourke says the All-Ireland champions could start a twinning arrangement with Antrim in the hope of improving the Saffron county's hurling fortunes.

"Maybe Tipperary and Antrim should twin and we could do something with coaching and games development. Send up some of our stronger players now and again and let them work up here," said the Tipperary chairman after the All-Ireland champions fought back from 2-8 to 0-8 down at half-time to beat the Saffrons 4-20 to 2-15 in the Father Alex Reid Memorial game at Corrigan Park.
