Kearney disappointed after Slaughtneil defeat

Slaughtneil joint manager John Joe Kearney says he has come from "a very quiet dressing room" after his side went down 1-9 to 1-7 in the Ulster Club SFC final at Croke Park on St Patrick's Day.

Padraig Cassidy's goal put Slaughtneil ahead but his sending off in first-half injury-time for retaliation was a key moment after he lashed out at Kieran O'Leary.

Colm Cooper grabbed the goal for Dr Crokes as Slaughtneil just fell short in their bid to add to the All-Ireland camogie triumph they secured two weeks ago.
