David Omoregie: "As long as I'm always progressing, I'm happy."

David Omoregie claimed bronze in the 110m hurdles at his first major competition, the World Junior Championships. He spoke to 200m star Christian Malcolm about starting out in athletics and what he is aiming to achieve in his career.

The 19-year-old Welshman began competing in athletics during school and after attending county events, realised it was something he could pursue at national and even international level.

Now the junior record holder for both the indoor and outdoor 110m hurdles, this ambitious athlete is aiming high.

"It's all about senior athletics. The Olympic Games, the World Championships, that's where I really want to be at and be good at."
