Sarah Russell loves to be active. In fact, if she doesn't walk or run everyday, her teenage sons call her "cranky old mum".
But what a lot of people do not know is Sarah lives, and runs with a colostomy bag.
After being rushed to hospital for a life-saving operation in 2010, she had surgery on another four occasions and there came a point in her life when she didn't think she would be able to eat solid food again, let alone continue her training.
But Sarah is not a quitter. "I thought, this is just like another marathon or another triathlon," she says. "I'm just going to see it as a challenge to overcome."
