Whitlock's aim to inspire youngsters

Gymnastics world champion Max Whitlock visited schools and clubs in Northern Ireland in an effort to inspire more young people to take up gymnastics.

Max said if he can help a few people join the sport it would be a "successful trip" and he hopes his visit can show young people winning a world championship was "possible for anyone."

"When I was younger I would have loved to see a gymnast at a high level" said the 23-year-old, adding, it is important for him "to give back."
