Jiyai Shin receives the British Open trophy
South Korea's Jiyai Shin receives the British Open trophy after a "long and tough day" at the Royal Liverpool Golf Club.
Shin jokes with BBC Sport's Hazel Irvine that the Hoylake course was "made for her" after taking victory by nine shots from compatriot Inbee Park, following a marathon final day of 36 holes after play was abandoned early on Friday.
Shin's victory completes a landmark year for women's golf, as all four majors have now been won by players from Asia.
