I've broken the curse - Justin Rose

Justin Rose hopes his US Open victory has "broken the curse" that has plagued English golfers in major tournaments.

Last month's victory at Merion was the first time an Englishman had won a major in the men's game since Nick Faldo's third and final US Masters success in 1996.

In an interview with BBC Sport, the 32-year-old Rose talks about his hopes for the Open, which begins at Muirfield on Thursday, and reflects on watching Andy Murray become Wimbledon champion

Rose, who was presented with a rose gold four iron by sponsors TaylorMade in honour of his final iron shot on the 18th at Merion, described being in the Royal Box on Centre Court as the "best perk" so far after becoming a major winner.
