US Open 2015: Graeme McDowell says 10-over total could win

Graeme McDowell believes the tough links-like conditions in this week's US Open increase the prospects of a British or Irish winner.

The Northern Irishman, 35, tells BBC Sport Northern Ireland's Stephen Watson he feels "well tuned" for what are "Open Championship conditions".

McDowell, who won the US Open in 2010, said: "Literally 10 over par could win this week but [USGA executive director] Mike Davis is very smart when it comes to course set-up and he'll probably keep the winning score in and around level par.

"I certainly don't see anybody going low on this golf course."
