Shane Lowry aiming for second Irish Open title at K Club

Ireland's Shane Lowry is preparing to bid for a second Irish Open crown at the K Club, having previously clinched the title seven years ago as an amateur.

"I feel like my game is in pretty good shape, good enough to give myself a chance this weekend," commented Lowry.

"I am a little bit away from the Ryder Cup team now and I need to keep playing well but the winner at the end of this week will have a good chance of making the team.

"Normally this is the time of year I start playing well, so hopefully that will be the same this year."
