Ireland's Peter Caruth awaits Olympic Games qualifying fate

Ireland hockey player Peter Caruth admits to being "excited but nervous" as he awaits the outcome of the final of the Oceania Cup this weekend which will decide whether the Irish qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

"The guys will get together to watch the game knowing that we need one result to go our way to make our dream of going to Rio come true.

"It has been hard to focus on training and it all comes down to this weekend," said Caruth, whose side will take part in next year's Games if Australia win the decider.
