Ulster Elks fall to Hermes defeat

Ulster Elks suffer their first defeat in this season's Irish Hockey League as leaders Hermes prevailed 3-1 in Dublin.

Anna O'Flanagan put Hermes ahead and Gemma Frazer equalised before Chloe Watkins and Nikki Evans hit further goals for the hosts.

Hermes have won their opening seven league game and are seven points clear of the second-placed Elks.
