Frankie Dettori banned from racing after failing drugs test
BBC Sport's Andy Swiss reports on Frankie Dettori's six-month ban from racing following a failed drugs test.
The 41-year-old British-based Italian jockey has been suspended worldwide until May 2013, with his solicitor Christopher Stewart-Moore saying the jockey feels he has "let down the sport" as well as his wife and children.
Dettori tested positive for a banned substance on 16 September at Longchamp near Paris on a day of major trials for October's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe meeting.
