French prize money superior to British, says John Best

Kent racehorse trainer John Best tells BBC South East Today that there is a big difference between the prize money on offer in France and in the UK.

Best, who owns four French-bred horses in his stables, has begun entering races on French soil.

Olivier Louit, the head of Deauville racecourse in Normandy, says the level of competition in France has been raised by foreign trainers.
