Victoria Pendleton makes jockey debut on Mighty Mambo at Newbury

Watch double Olympic cycling champion Victoria Pendleton make her debut as an amateur jockey in a flat race at Newbury on Thursday.

Pendleton, 34, who retired from cycling after the 2012 Olympics, finished eighth on Mighty Mambo in the George Frewer Charity Race.

The one-mile, five-furlong race forms the first part of Pendleton's bid to compete at the 2016 Cheltenham Festival.
