AP McCoy pays tribute to 'iconic' Pat Eddery after jockey's death

AP McCoy pays tribute to the "iconic" Pat Eddery after the death of the 11-time champion jockey.

McCoy said that Eddery, who passed away at the age of 63, was regarded as a "god' in the Horse Racing world.

"He has a great will to win and horses liked him and ran for him," said McCoy, who added that Eddery will most be remembered for his Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe victory on Dancing Brave in 1986.

"I felt great pride that he asked me to ride one of his horses when he was a trainer. He was a very kind and generous man," added McCoy.
