More late heartbreak for Belfast Giants against Steelers

Belfast Giants suffer more late heartbreak as Sheffield snatch a late winner to earn a 4-3 win in Saturday's Elite League game.

For the third time since the beginning of February, the Giants lost to a goal in the final minute of regulation, the Steelers scoring with 16 seconds remaining.

For the first time since October the Giants had starting netminder Stephen Murphy back since he suffered a tear in his groin.

This weekend Steve Thornton's side are back at the Odyssey Arena for a doubleheader against the Nottingham Panthers on Saturday night (19:00 GMT face off) and Sunday afternoon (16:00) in what could be a preview of the play-off quarter-finals in a few weeks.
