Face Off: Giants fall to Panthers at Odyssey

The Belfast Giants were beaten twice at home by the Nottingham Panthers last weekend, losing the first game after a shootout and the second 5-1.

The results confirmed the Giants would finish the Elite League season in fifth place and they complete their schedule with a game against Coventry Blaze at the Odyssey Arena on Friday night and a trip to the Fife Flyers on Saturday.

Three teams can still win the championship going into the final weekend - Sheffield, Cardiff or Braehead, while Steve Thornton's side await the results from other games to find out who their first round opponents will be in the end-of-season play-offs.

Can the Giants find some good form before that? In Face-off we hear from head coach Steve Thornton and captain Adam Keefe.
