Coach Derrick Walser vows to make changes after Giants defeats

Belfast Giants coach Derrick Walser vows to make changes after watching his side pick up just one point from their two Elite League fixtures over the weekend.

The Giants lost 4-3 to Fife Flyers on Saturday night and were then defeated 4-3 in a penalty shootout by Nottingham Panthers at the SSE Arena, after the game had ended 4-4 after overtime.

"We played solid in Fife but took unnecessary penalties which came back to hurt us. We had the game under control but didn't react well to having a 'goal' disallowed (after it was adjudged not to have crossed the line)," said Walser.
