Jim McGuinness shields players from hype ahead of decider

Jim McGuinness says his Donegal players have to focus on their normal big-match preparations even though the "county is buzzing" ahead of Sunday's All-Ireland Football Final against Kerry.

"We have to stay focused on our football. That is what has got us this far," said the Donegal manager.

McGuinness is expecting a tough battle against a Kingdom side that he rates very highly.

"They have got very, very good players through the squad. They have a really strong midfield in David Moran and Anthony Maher and [their manager] Eamonn Fitzmaurice is a very smart guy."
