Crossmaglen joint-boss Oisin McConville rejects bite allegation

Crossmaglen's joint-manager Oisin McConville says his players have denied that a Cargin player was bitten during Sunday's Ulster Club Football game.

Cargin's Antrim player Michael McCann believes he was bitten early in the second half of the game which Crossmaglen eventually won 2-15 to 0-13.

However, McConville says that his club's own investigation into the alleged incident has found "no evidence" to back up the claim.

"We've asked our players if they were involved in a biting incident. Our players have said they weren't. We're happy to accept that," said McConville, who added that his club would co-operate with any official investigation launched into the alleged incident.
