North West 200: Ex-MotoGP star Jeremy McWilliams, 52, ready for busy week of racing

Ex-MotoGP star Jeremy McWilliams says he is having fun in the sun at the North West 200 as he prepares for a busy racing week at the age of 52.

McWilliams has achieved two Supertwin victories in recent years at the Northern Ireland meeting but will be in action on a Superbike for the Mar-Train Yamaha team after replacing injured Isle of Man rider Dan Kneen.

"The Superbike is a real handful but I'm enjoying it," said McWilliams after Tuesday's opening practice which was held in glorious conditions on the Triangle circuit.
