Lintin wins halted Supertwin race

English rider Ivan Lintin is declared the winner of Thursday's Supertwin race at the North West 200 after it is halted following the serious crash involving Ryan Farquhar.

Farquhar, 40, was airlifted to Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital and the county Tyrone man remains seriously ill in intensive care following surgery.

English rider Dan Cooper was also involved in the crash but was released from Causeway Hospital in Coleraine on Friday morning after suffering two dislocated shoulders.

The crash led to the Supertwin race being halted although Lincolnshire man Lintin was declared the winner as he led after the second lap.
