British Olympic Association backs down on 2012 athlete demands

The British Olympic Association has been forced to dilute the commercial demands on athletes competing at London 2012, as BBC Sports Editor David Bond reports.

BOA chairman Lord Moynihan admits is was an "error" to insist athletes appear at one VIP dinner or reception during the Games.

Moynihan adds that requests which "impact on performance" would not be sanctioned by himself or the board.
