Greene backs Blake over Bolt

Former world record holder Maurice Greene backs 100m world champion Yohan Blake to beat reigning Olympic champion Usain Bolt in the 100m at London 2012.

The 2000 Sydney Olympic 100m gold medallist believes that, on current form, Blake is favourite to beat his training partner and fellow Jamaican Usain Bolt, arguing that the world record holder has "trouble in close races".

Greene retired from sprinting in 2008 following a career that brought him two Olympic golds, five world championship golds and in which he set the then world record time for the 100m of 9.79 seconds in 1999.
