The triumphant 2004 Yngling crew lost Shirley Robertson but Pippa Wilson stepped in and the 'three blondes in a boat' won the final race in atrocious conditions.

Hot favourite Ainslie made it three gold medals in three Games to become Britain's most successful Olympic sailor. Leading going into the medal race, the 31-year-old only needed to finish six places behind closest rival Zach Railey - but still won the race anyway.
