Olympic women's judo: Menezes wins 48kg gold

Brazil's Sarah Menezes defeats 2008 Olympic champion Alina Dumitru in the final of the women's judo 48kg to win gold at the London Olympics.

In the build up to the games the Brazilian had lied about her whereabouts to her parents as they did not know she competed in judo. It was a fitting ending for Menezes as she sealed victory with a waza-ari. Watch full replay of the bout here
