Jung wins individual eventing gold

History is made in the equestrian individual eventing final at Greenwich Park as Germany's Michael Jung scores 40.60 to become the first man ever to hold the World, European and Olympic titles at the same time.

Sweden's Sara Algotsson Ostholt narrowly missed out on becoming the event's first female gold medallist, as she failed to clear the final hurdle, scoring 43.30.

Great Britain's Mary King, riding Imperial Cavalier, placed fifth with a score of 50.10.
