Lord Coe: 100m Olympic bottle thrower got poetic justice

Sebastian Coe said it was "poetic justice" that the man who threw a bottle at the 100m Olympic sprinters happened to be sitting next to a Dutch judo star.

The chairman of the London 2012 organising committee Locog was asked about the incident - and what action might be taken against the judoka.

Bronze medal winner, Edith Bosch, had posted on Twitter, "A drunken spectator threw a bottle onto the track! I HAVE BEATEN HIM .... unbelievable."

Lord Coe joked: "I think the expression is ippon", referring to the highest score achieved in martial arts.

Police arrested a man on Sunday.
