Modern pentathlon: Svoboda wins as Great Britain finish 10th

David Svoboda of the Czech Republic takes modern pentathlon gold with 10th-placed Nick Woodbridge the leading Briton.

Nick Woodbridge finished 10th for Great Britain with team-mate Sam Weale 13th.

China's Cao Zhongrong took the silver medal, with Hungarian Adam Marosi in bronze.

Modern pentathlon involves fencing, swimming, showjumping and a combined run-and-shoot finale.
