Ballymena boxer Steven Donnelly says he remains proud of his Olympic efforts after he exited at the quarter-final stage in the welterweight division on Saturday.
Donnelly went down to a split decision as he fought to secure a guaranteed medal against Morocco's current world champion Mohammed Rabii.
"Overall, I think I've performed brilliantly at these Olympics. Today, I was up against a guy who hits very hard and I felt comfortable through the fight," said the 27-year-old.
Donnelly added that he may now consider turning professional.
