Leeds Rhinos eliminated after 24-20 loss to Catalan Dragons
Leeds Rhinos coach Brian McDermott says his team "weren't good enough on the night" after watching their hopes of a "doable" double end with a 24-20 loss to the Catalan Dragons in the Super League play-offs.
The Challenge Cup winners lost the elimination match after Sam Williams pounced on a handling error by Rhinos winger Tom Briscoe to score a last-minute try.
Dragons coach Laurent Frayssinous admits his team were "lucky" with the final try that secured their first win at Headingley, but wants to "keep on dreaming" ahead of Friday's preliminary semi-final against the Huddersfield Giants.
