Hull FC flying from front to back

BBC Super League Show pundits John Kear and Jamie Peacock assess the factors behind in-form Hull FC's impressive progress under head coach Lee Radford.

With a number of winter off-season imports brought in by Radford, the Airlie Birds made a mixed start but they have pushed for the top eight with five wins in six.

A powerful pack - fronted by Liam Watts and Mickey Paea and backed up with the ball-playing talents of Mark Minichiello, Gareth Ellis and Joe Westerman - has been complemented by a blossoming back line serviced by the half-back pairing of Leon Pryce and Marc Sneyd.

The Black and Whites missed out on the top eight last term but are currently on course for a top-eight spot.
