Wasps and Newcastle face drop decider

BBC Sport previews this Saturday's Premiership relegation decider between Wasps and Newcastle, with members of both teams giving their thoughts on the dramatic final game of the season.

A victory for Wasps at Adams Park would consign the Falcons to the Championship, but a bonus-point win for Newcastle - or a losing margin for the hosts of 24 points - will send them into the second tier instead.

Wasps prop Tim Payne likens the match to a "Heineken Cup final", while director of rugby Dai Young is relishing the "relegation battle" but says he "won't be rejoicing" if his side relegate Newcastle.

Newcastle back row Ally Hogg believes the team will "rise to the challenge" and Falcons' director of rugby Gary Gold says the fixture is a "lifeline", which gives his side "a glimmer of hope" for survival.
