Six Nations 2014: Danny Care keen on securing England place

Scrum-half Danny Care believes his performance against France in the opening round of the 2014 Six Nations was his "best game ever" for England, and feels "this is my time" to secure a permanent starting place in the team.

Care scored a drop-goal against France in Paris, but the hosts scored a late try to win 26-24.

Speaking ahead of Saturday's Calcutta Cup clash against Scotland, head coach Stuart Lancaster insists he is "very proud" of England's performance against France despite losing, and feels his side "have come a long way" since his first game in charge in 2012, when England beat Scotland at Murrayfield.
