New WRU chairman Gareth Davies targets 'unity' in Welsh rugby

New Welsh Rugby Union chairman Gareth Davies says one of his main aims will be to restore "unity" to rugby in Wales.

Davies, who has been the Newport Gwent Dragons chief executive, was voted into the post by the board of directors on Tuesday.

The 59-year-old succeeds David Pickering in the role, after he failed to win re-election to the board in September.
