Farrell defiant on England selection

Backs coach Andy Farrell defends England's squad selection process and the reputation of head coach Stuart Lancaster after the hosts' humiliating exit from the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

A 33-13 defeat to Australia at Twickenham on Saturday, after defeat to Wales a week earlier, condemned England as the first host nation has go out at the group stage of the tournament.

Farrell backs Lancaster as the man to continue developing the squad and reacts angrily to the suggestion that his own nepotism was behind the selection his son Owen at fly-half ahead of George Ford.
