Sale Sharks: Premiership salary cap must be policed

Sale Sharks director of rugby Steve Diamond says the Premiership salary cap must be policed properly whatever the limits for the clubs.

Premiership Rugby revealed that clubs had not breached the salary cap, despite "confidential agreements" being reached over "certain issues" with last season's £4.76m wage limit.

The cap will rise to £6.5m in 2016-17 and then another £500,000 the season after that.
