Ulster Director of Rugby Kiss will bring 'ruthless edge' - Best

Ulster captain Rory Best says the province's new Director of Rugby Les Kiss will bring a "ruthless edge" in his approach to the job following his arrival at the Kingspan Stadium.

Australian Kiss has taken charge at Ulster in time for the start of their European Champions Cup campaign after acting as assistant to Joe Schmidt with Ireland at the Rugby World Cup.

"Les will leave us in no doubt as to what he expects from us as players and will put pressure on us to perform to the best of our ability," said Best.

"We must make sure we start well (against Oyannax on Saturday) and try to produce a workmanlike performance in the first 10 minutes in order to nullify their fire and passion, and bring our own physicality to the game."
