Keith Wood already excited about 2017 Lions tour to New Zealand

Former Ireland captain Keith Wood says he is already excited at the prospect of the British and Irish Lions tour to New Zealand in 2017.

"It's never too early to get excited about a Lions tour - there is a huge amount of preparation involved," said Wood.

"New Zealand peaked at just the right time to win the World Cup. There was a discernible difference in how the northern and southern hemisphere teams played and we need to rectify that."
