Ireland captaincy a "massive honour" for Ulster hooker Best

Ulster hooker Rory Best says being named Ireland captain is an "unbelievable honour", adding that he is "humbled and delighted to lead such a wonderful bunch of players".

"To follow in the footsteps of Paul O'Connell is a challenge as he was such a great captain and such a great player for Ireland," said the 33-year-old.

"The prospect of working with a top coach like Joe Schmidt is very exciting and while I will take things from the captains I have played under, I will also try to put my own stamp on the job."
