Kiss delighted by win over Connacht

Ulster's director of rugby Les Kiss is pleased as his team boost their hopes of qualifying for the Pro12 play-offs by beating leaders Connacht 18-10 at Kingspan Stadium.

"I take my hat off to the boys. Connacht came here with the momentum. They are the best team in the league. They threw it at us but our boys were up for it," said Kiss.

"We probably should have got a couple of more points out of it for sure but it's a win and a pretty vital one for us."

Centres Stuart McCloskey and Luke Marshall were forced out of the game after suffering knocks but Kiss is said that it wasn't clear how serious the injuries were.

McCloskey was clutching his shoulder after he left the pitch while Marshall appeared to suffer a clash of heads.
